Mien Trung is pleased to kick off our 2008 activities for Nghia Si Mien Trung. A series of activities have been created to help nganh Nghia across Mien Trung unite and prepare for the upcoming Dai Hoi Nghia Si Toan Quoc III in June 2008. The theme for all of our activities for NS MT is “The Road to Damascus.” Damascus is where St. Paul was headed when he met God. Damascus is also where St. Paul was baptized and began his evangelization journey. As such, we want to help NS MT meet God on your way to Damascus (a.k.a. – DHNS III). We have three goals with “The Road to Damascus”: - Provide HT NS activities to supplement your own local activities
- Build friendship and unity among Nghia Si in Mien
- Create excitement for representing Mien at DHNS III in June 2008
The following activities have been designed to help NS MT meet God in family, friends and in themselves as they prepare for DHNS III: - NS Facebook group
- NS Video Challenge
- Regional/Doan retreat suggestions
- NS MT Cheer contest
- NS MT Lenten project
- Photo Challenge
- Prayer-Pals project
While all activities are optional, we encourage all NS MT to get involved! Share your NS lives with other NS in Mien Trung! Meet some new friends before we arrive at ĐHNS! Let's unite and be strong force when we arrive to Damascus (a.k.a. ĐHNS)! If you are a NS.... talk to your ngành trưởng if you want to participate in any of the activities mentioned above. If you are a huynh trưởng NS, encourage your NS to join in the activities and help them prepare! We'll kick off each event at different times between now and June. Watch this Web site for more details! Questions can be sent to me at ecpham@yahoo.com. We hope to see all of our Nghia Si Mien Trung on “The Road to Damascus”!!! In Christ, Chi Pham Uy Vien Nghia Si, Mien Trung |
